I have been an engineer, architect, lawyer, teacher and IT professional. My formal ministries have been 12 years of Urban Ministry at HopeStreet and 14 years of International Development at Global Mission Partners. At HopeStreet, I lead a team welcoming and working to empower people at the margins, plant relevant churches and introduce others to the Urban Ministry. At Global Mission Partners, I grew a team working with church partners around the world in community development programs. Throughout these roles, I was part of a ministry retreat group, where I learned reflective practice for spiritual renewal. It is these experiences and skills which I seek to bring to mentoring, particularly to mentees travelling a similar road to mine.

A safe and warm space to stimulate you to wrestle with the breadth of issues which impinge on your person and your work. Nothing is not relevant. I seek to surface the melody of God’s work - to nudge people toward better awareness, integration, maturity, and fulfilment.

As a mentor my role is to be deeply present, to listen closely, to discern the threads and themes of the story I hear and offer them back to the speaker to process - always holding a safe space of affirmation, enlightenment, refining, growth and renewal.

My experience and passions are well matched to travelling with those in Christian mission, international and domestic community development, leadership, urban ministry, social services and helping professions generally.
