Deb has a Bachelor of Business with a major in Human Resource Management from the University of Newcastle, and has spent much of the last 20+ years coaching and advising leaders on how to build and sustain healthy and high performing teams. She has a passion for seeing organisations and their people flourish as they work together to achieve mission.

Deb currently serves on two boards. She is a board member for CMA (Christian Ministry Advancement Ltd (incorporating Christian Management Australia)), a not-for-profit organisation, seeking to help the Christian sector in Australia become more effective. Deb is also a board member for Path 2 Change (P2C), a not-for-profit organisation committed to reducing and preventing homelessness, by supporting those at risk or experiencing homelessness to overcome barriers towards a sustainable future.

Deb served in senior leadership at Compassion Australia for 15 years. As a member of the Executive team she had responsibility for the leadership of a range of functions throughout her time which expanded her organisational perspective.

Deb is married to Duncan and they have one son - 9 year old Jack. They live in Newcastle, NSW, where they love to mountain bike and enjoy the outdoors.
