FORMAL Mentors are those who offer formal or vocational mentoring (perhaps as part of a role responsibility) in a structured way, usually with a written agreement, but do not receive any direct remuneration for this ministry. Professional indemnity insurance is recommended but not required for mentors in this category.

Biographical Info
I am married to Brian, have 2 beautiful adult daughters, one son in law and 2 delightful granddaughters. I was in full time ministry for nearly 38 years and am now retired. I served in a number of roles including as a medical officer at a Salvation Army hospital in Zimbabwe, as a Corps officer (church ministry) for 13 years, as Director of The Salvation Army Counselling Service for 11 years, and in the training and education of trainee ministers for 9 years.
